We are a small, Christian-owned, family business located in the CBD Capitol of the World: Colorado! It Is Good was started by the brother-sister team, Dawn and Brett, as well as Dawn's husband, Shaun.
After experiencing the benefits of CBD ourselves, we decided to make our own recipes to try out on friends, family, and fellow members of our church. (Thanks for being our Guinea pigs!) Upon getting feedback from everybody, and after a little bit of tweaking, we zeroed in on a few combinations that worked well for most of those who were helped by our balms and sublingual oils. It Is Good was launched soon afterward.
We truly believe that God put us here at this moment in time for this very reason. Without getting too political, we are all-too-aware of what's going on around us. We see people being denied medical care, or worse yet, being made unhealthier because of the medical care they're receiving. If we can help those who have been denied, harmed, or persecuted, by the love of God and with His help, we will. And for those who have already placed themselves in God's care and are looking at the end of their time in this world, (let us first say, Hallelujah!) maybe we can help their journey be a little more tolerable and improve the quality of their lives too.
Dawn and Brett are both Colorado natives, born and raised in Fort Collins. In her spare time, Dawn likes to study The Word and volunteers to help those in need. As a health care professional specializing in geriatric care, she is well-suited for the new role God has for her. Brett enjoys fishing and hanging out with his two sons. He's got a heart as big as Texas. Shaun enjoys singing on his church's Praise Team, playing his guitar, and reading the news.
